We say goodbye to another player who has played a huge part in the story of Darlington F.C. Women.

From the very start, 𝘾𝙝𝙡𝙤𝙚 𝙏𝙞𝙣𝙠𝙡𝙚𝙧 (Tinks) has been part of the journey. Joining the team when it was first formed in 2021, she has proudly represented the Quakers for the past five seasons, making 61 competitive appearances along the way.

An original member of the squad, Tinks has brought far more than just her performances on the pitch. Her experience, personality and infectious character have made her a hugely valued member of the dressing room, and she’ll be greatly missed by teammates, coaches and supporters alike.

One moment that will be remembered for the Quaker Women came during the 2022/23 season, when Tinks produced an unbelievable strike from just inside the opposition’s half against CLS Amazons. It was a goal that won Goal of the Season and one that everyone there on the day will remember.

As one chapter closes, we want to thank Tinks for everything she has given to this football club. From helping lay the foundations in our very first season to creating memories that will last a lifetime, your contribution to Darlington F.C. Women will always be appreciated.
