The players, management team and officials would like to thank all the Darlington fans who travelled across to Walsall on Saturday -- firstly for taking the trouble to make the journey, and secondly for the magnificent support all the way through the game. Your backing was very much appreciated.

The club knew that we would take a sizeable following, but to see 1229 fans in the away end cheering on the Quakers was magnificent.

Everyone took away some great memories of the day -- Joe Wheatley's goal will go down in club folklore for many a year -- but now let's make some more good ones in the replay. The lads will need everyone's backing even more at Blackwell Meadows when the two sides meet again on Wednesday 20th November.
