Darlington U12 2 Easington Colliery U12s 5.
League Cup
A good start to the first half with some nice attacking passes. First 15 minutes Quakers played excellent with an amazing strike from Spencer McCabe to put us 1-0 up. This good start ended with the defence holding their own to keep out a goal, but with little gaps appearing, they scored two in quick concession to make it 2-1.
Just before the half time whistle blew, another amazing strike from Spencer made it 2-2.
Half time: Darlington U12's 2 Easington Colliery 2.
Second half saw some good passes throughout, but the Easington defence was strong. Darlington pushed further up the pitch to try and find the win but were caught out by first a long ball and second a counter attack for two goals. In the dying 10 minutes Darlington threw everything at their defence, but unfortunately, to no avail and Easington scored another.
