Darlington Under 18s were unlucky to lose their latest Durham County Under 18 game at New Hartley on Saturday.

After a goalless and tight first half, New Hartley went into the lead with a goal against the run of play, but then Dale Milburn equalised from the penalty spot after he was brought down.

Hartley scored the second when a mishit shot fell nicely for a forward to tap in, and Quakers thought they had equalised, but the goal was harshly disallowed for offside.

Hartley made it 3-1 with a free kick, but Quakers kept going and pulled one back with an Ethan Harker header with three minutes left. They had all the play after that, but couldn’t force an equaliser.
