The Under 18s had to call upon four under 17s as they were missing players due to first team requirements – James Marley was called up – and injuries.

Lewis Cocks from the Under 17s started and helped the team seal the win through an own goal, Lewis Rees, Lewis Walton, Dan Pigg, Jordan Lee and Dale Milburn – another Under 17 lad who scored his first goal with a looping header!

Other Under 17s to feature were Lee Hume and Joseph Smith.

Under 18s manager Andrew Jinks said; “I was pleased with the performance of the team. Everyone went into the game with the right attitude and got the job done to take the three points.

"We’re on a good run of games now and this win puts us three points behind the top spot with two games in hand. The pressure is on!”
