Darlington won their first game in the National North with a comfortable 4-1 victory over Boston United. Goals from Terry Galbraith, Liam Hardy, Mark Beck and an own goal sent the Quakers faithful home happy.

Halifax Town top the table on goal difference after recording their second win so far against Worcester City. They won 3-0 thanks to goals from Kevin Roberts, Michael Wilde and Tom Denton.

Tamworth are just behind Halifax, also on seven points from three matches, after a 2-1 win against Telford United. Dan Newton gave Tamworth the lead early on, only for Tom Peers to level for the visitors. However, Andy Morrell scored a dramatic stoppage time winner for Tamworth.

Harrogate Town are fourth, but conceded a last minute equaliser at home to Altrincham. James Lawrie gave Altrincham an early lead, only for Luke Shiels and Simon Ainge to turn the game in the hosts favour. However, Damien Reeves scored in the 92nd minute to secure Altrincham’s third 2-2 draw in a row.

FC United of Manchester handed Stockport County their first defeat of the season on Friday night at Broadhurst Park. Matthew Wolfenden gave FC United the lead in the first half, before Nathan Lowe sealed the win four minutes from time.

Brackley’s good start to the season continued with a point from their trip to AFC Fylde.  Lee Ndlovu gave Brackley the lead, but Steve Williams was able to earn a point for Fylde nine minutes from time.

Chorley earned a useful point with a goalless draw at Aggborough against Kidderminster Harriers.

Salford City won impressively at Stalybridge Celtic, 4-0, thanks to goals from Mike Phenix, Matthew Warburton, Jordan Hulme and Sam Walker.

Gloucester City won 4-1 at home to Gainsborough Trinity. Joe Parker gave the hosts the lead, but Matt Thornhill levelled for Gainsborough minutes later. However, Gloucester were able to pick up all three points thanks to goals from Ed Williams, Luke Hopper and Spencer Hamilton.

Curzon Ashton picked up their first win of the season, thanks to Connor Hampson scoring the only goal of the game away to Alfreton Town.

Bradford Park Avenue have drawn all three of their games so far after being held at home by Nuneaton Town. Chris Sharp gave Bradford the lead in the first half, but Joe Ironside levelled for Nuneaton in the final minute of the game.
