Will signs for Quakers for the second time

Midfielder leaves Fylde and joins Quakers

Darlington FC are pleased to announce that midfielder Will Hatfield has signed for the club for the second time.

Will, who has signed a two year contract, has left AFC Fylde after playing for them since March 2022 -- they won the league last season -- and has now signed for Quakers, subject to FA and National League approval. Fylde agreed to cancel his contract, there is no transfer fee involved.

We are hoping that he will be eligible to play at Scunthorpe on Tuesday night.

In his first spell with us, Will made 87 appearances, scoring 11 times. He scored some memorable goals, including one into the top corner at Kidderminster -- you can see it again here.

Will spoke to the official website -- you can listen to his interview here

And here's what Alun says about Will's return

Everyone at Darlington Fc is delighted that Will has rejoined us, and we wish him all the best.
