This Sunday, Darlington FC Women welcome Sunderland West End Ladies F.C to Eastbourne Sports Complex in the Second Round Qualifying of the FA Cup.

Both teams are in good form going into the game with 100% records from their league and cup games. Although Sunderland West End play two leagues above the Quaker Women, they have met once before in the County Cup. In Darlington’s first season, Sunderland beat them 3-0 on a heavy pitch in late December 2021.

Ex Quaker, Gary Bennett MBE is the West End’s manager and we look forward to welcoming him and his team to Eastbourne. Darlington have made it to the Third Round Qualifying in the past two seasons, can they defy the odds and do it again on Sunday?
