Urgent advice York v Darlington -- buy your tickets in advance!
By Ray Simpson
Information for Tuesday's derby match at York's new ground
York City v Darlington Tuesday 8th March 2022
We travel to York City’s new stadium next Tuesday 8th March for our National League North game. This game was due to be played on Saturday 12th March, but has been brought forward because of York’s FA Trophy commitments.
We strongly advise our fans to buy tickets in advance (for the North Stand) to avoid congestion on the night. We expect several hundred Darlington fans to travel, so buying in advance makes good sense.
York’s new ground is at Monk’s Cross to the north of the city, and they have sent us the following advice for our supporters.
Visiting Supporters
Visiting supporters will be accommodated in the North Stand, admission will be online or via the North ticket booth on the day. Supporters are encouraged to buy in advance. Then access to the ground is through turnstiles numbers 10, 11 and 12.

7 wheelchair spaces are available pitchside along with carer seat. Please call York Stadium management company Ticket Office on 01904 942232 or email to arrange this tickets@yorksmc.co.uk.
Supporters Parking
Parking at the ground is very scarce with only 400 spaces available at £5 per car bought in advance. The other way is to go to one of the many park and rides around York.
