On Saturday we came away from Mossley with a 3-0 victory thanks to goals from Terry Galbraith, an own goal and a wonder strike from Stephen Thompson. We also played Whitby Town on Wednesday night in the Doodson Cup, where a youthful looking Quakers side lost out on penalties after a 3-3 draw.

Graeme Armstrong scoring the only goal of the game inside the first minute.

On Saturday we progressed in the FA Trophy with victory away to Radcliffe Borough, 2-0. In the next round we travel to Scarborough Athletic. On Tuesday night we were away to Spennymoor in the Durham County Cup, when the under 18’s were used by Martin Gray. Unfortunately they were defeated 4-0 by a strong Spennymoor team, however it is still good experience for the youngsters.
