The Quakers face Boston United in their first home game of the Vanarama National League North season this Saturday at Heritage Park.

The Pilgrims have started the season with back-to-back defeats, 1-0 at home to Stalybridge Celtic and 2-0 away to Harrogate Town.

Their team on Tuesday night was Boston (4-2-3-1): Christian Dibble; Kalern Thomas, Joe Maguire, Herve Pepe-Ngoma, Courtney Wildin; Grant Roberts (Lamin Colley 72), Lewis Hilliard (Ollie Price 56); Jay Rollins, Callum Chippendale (Joe Burgess 84), Jason St Juste; Waide Fairhurst. Subs (not used): Liam Adams, Michael Emery (gk).

They include former Darlo player Jason St Juste, who scored twice in 15 games for Darlington, including the winner at Grimsby in the 2004-05 season.

Liam Marrs signed from Boston for Darlington over the summer, having reached the playoffs with the Pilgrims in the last two seasons.

He is not the only player to move between the two sides, Julian Joachim made the switch for a club record fee, £100,000 and went onto play for the Quakers 76 times.

The last meeting the two sides was back in February 2007 when Darlington were 2-0 winners, Ian Miller and Neil Wainwright scoring the goals.

Darlington started the season with a good point in a 2-2 draw at Altrincham, defenders Kevin Burgess and Terry Galbraith scoring the goals.

Chris Hunter serves the final game of his suspension and will be available for selection on Monday night when we travel Curzon Ashton. However new signing Mark Beck will be available for selection on Saturday after his international clearance came through this week. Midfielder Stephen Thompson also returns.
