Quakers sign central defender Tye Barton

Arrives from Inter Miami

Darlington have tonight signed central defender Tye Barton following his departure from Inter Miami.

London-born Tye started his career in San Diego at Carmel Valley Sharks, before joining San Diego Loyal at the age of 16.

He moved to Inter Miami and played for their under 19s for six months, and then moved up into their second team for two seasons, playing for them in the Major Soccer League as well as training with the first team.

Tye will now go straight into our squad for the away game at Alfreton on Saturday.

We'd like to thank all the various organisations and clubs who have helped us gain international clearance.

We'd like to wish Tye all the best while he is with us.
