Catching up on games in the league
The Darlington FC Academy are hoping to beat the weather when they go to Fylde for a league game today.
The Academy lads have been denied games on several occasions by bad weather this time, and they're hoping to finally see some action in the north west. They've only played two league games this season.
Head of youth Paul Thomas said; “It’s been a nightmare with cancelled games but the lads are chomping at the bit to get out and impress. Our season starts here and we will have a few busy weeks coming up but everyone is pushing in the same direction so hopefully we can hit the ground running and set off as we mean to continue.”
