Academy lose first game

Defeat against Blyth
Darlington Academy got their league campaign underway with a trip to a well fancied Blyth Spartans side this afternoon at Newcastle University’s Cochrane Park ground.
A tough afternoon for the lads with several key players missing through injury, suspension and holidays. The hosts ran out 4-0 winners but there were plenty of positives for Darlo to take away with them, notably a number of competitive debut for our first years.
