Adriano leaves Quakers

Contract cancelled by mutual consent

The club has today cancelled Adriano Moke’s contract by mutual consent.

Adriano, who had won the FA Trophy twice with York City earlier in his career, signed for us from Spennymoor in March 2022, and made 74 appearances for us in total.

Manager Steve Watson said; "I've worked previously with Adriano and really admire him as a player and as a person.

"Unfortunately we are unable to offer him the minutes on the pitch that he needs at this time and we agreed that the best thing for his career was to go play regular football.

"I personally want to take this opportunity to wish him all the best going forward -- cheers, Mokes!"

We would like to thank Adriano for his service, and wish him all the best for the future.
