Physio leaves for Boro
We’d like to wish our physio, Luke Roberts, all the very best in the next stage of his career at Middlesbrough.
Luke joined us three seasons ago after Danny O’Connor left, and since then has done a superb job looking after, and preventing injuries, as well as providing detailed injury updates to the management team. His last game was at Radcliffe on Monday.
Manager Steve Watson said; “Luke has been a pleasure to work with. He’s young, enthusiastic and loves his football.
“He’s improved since the first day we met him, he’s been very reliable and knowledgeable.
“Middlesbrough are very lucky to have him.”
The club has now appointed Liam Hooper as his replacement after an interview process.
Liam has plenty of experience in different environments, and had a four month spell as a student physiotherapist with us earlier in the year.
We would like to wish Luke all the best for the future, and we would like to welcome Liam to the club, and wish him every success. Liam will be working with Nathan Liddle, our head physio.
