Darlington striker Amar Purewal, who is currently out on loan at Harrogate RA to gain match fitness, has been called up by the Panjab again for a friendly.

Amar has already played in one trial match for the Panjab against the Leicester Academy last month, and has clearly done well enough to be called up into a 23 man squad for another friendly on April 24th at Kidderminster against the Jersey FA, who are coached by former Darlington boss Brian Little.

If Amar again impresses, then hopefully he’ll be chosen for the final 20 man squad that goes to Abkhazia for the ConiFA World Championships in May. Amar’s brother Arjun has also been called up..
