π₯ Match Preview
Darlo are hoping to reproduce their recent impressive home form and extend their unbeaten league run to six matches when they travel to Bedford Town on Saturday.
The Quakers come into this away game after a three-game stint of home matches of two wins and one draw, with the most recent being a 3-3 goal fest on Tuesday night against Curzon Ashton, with goals from Cedric Main, Charlie Lennon and Will McGowan.
Away from home this season, Darlington have a solid record and are 6th in the away form table with four wins and one draw in nine away matches this season, with 14 goals scored and 12 conceded.
Darlington’s opponents, Bedford Town, are one of the new teams in the league and have found life in the National League North tough, but are doing well for a team recently promoted and are 16th in the league with six wins and four draws after 19 games played, which has gained them 22 points.
The Eagles come into this game after a 3-1 loss away on Tuesday to Peterborough Sports, where, after top scorer Tyrone Marsh equalised for Bedford, two second-half goals from Peterborough Sports meant The Eagles have won one and lost four of their last five league matches.
At The Eyrie Stadium this season, Bedford haven’t been able to make it a fortress just yet and are 20th in home form with three wins and two draws in nine matches with 15 goals scored and 14 conceded.
The two clubs have never met before, so both clubs will want to win the first-ever meeting.

π€ Player Spotlight
Bedford have the second top goal scorer in the league, Tyrone Marsh, who has 16 goals this season. They acquired him in the summer from National League side Boreham Wood, and he has hit the ground running. Marsh has five goals in his last five games, including two braces, one against Buxton and the other coming against Merthyr.
In between the sticks for The Eagles is Nathan Ashmore, who is on loan from Boreham Wood. In his seven appearances, he has kept four clean sheets, only conceding five goals. He has been key to Bedford in the recent months and will prove a stern test for Darlington.
