Darlington FC Youth U9 v Billingham Synthonia

Number 1 Zach Judson started in goal with Ben Snowden and Issac Marr in front of him in defence. Jack Shaw, Charlie Cole and Max Atkinson started in midfield with Oliver English leading the attack.

Darlington dominated the majority of the first half, having numerous chances to take the lead. Max Atkinson, who has enjoyed a great run of form, scored the first goal of the game. A curling effort over the keeper in via the bar.

Half time came and went. Oliver English added another goal to his tally finishing well into the bottom left corner.

Jack Shaw added another well in the box, which should have been game over.

But Synners hit back, and caused Darlington lots of problems.

Ben Snowden took this week’s man of the match, proving himself to be a top performer in the side.
