The bucket collection at Saturday’s home game with FC United on behalf of County Durham and Darlington Fundraising Trust raised a fantastic £227.56 as well as 85 Easter Eggs in aid of the children’s ward at Darlington Memorial Hospital.

Pat Chambers, from the charity, said; “We’re absolutely delighted with the support and of course if you were to turn the Easter Eggs donated into a value too – that would probably be another £200.00 – so a brilliant start to our relationship with you all and looking forward to the future.”
