Can you help an adult to enjoy this Christmas?

Appeal on behalf of NACRO

The Board of Directors is committed to taking Darlington Football Club to the heart of our community and DFC prides itself on having a diverse family of employees who share a passion for football and a steadfast commitment to the local community.

Nacro are a national social justice charity, with branches across Teesside and the North East, with more than 50 years’ experience of changing lives, building stronger communities and reducing crime. They house, they educate, they support, they advise, and they speak out for and with disadvantaged young people and adults. Nacro are passionate about changing lives. In 2018, they helped around 32,000 people.

The children that Nacro support often get presents at Christmas but the adults are often forgotten and Nacro are holding a collection for adults Christmas gifts. There are adults in the Nacro service who will not receive a single gift and will see no one on Christmas Day.

If anyone wishes to support Nacro’s Christmas Appeal, all you simply have to do it to donate a gift, suitable for an adult, and drop it into Quaker Retail in the Dolphin Centre or at Quaker Retail at the home game this Saturday.

Thank you for supporting this charity. If anyone wishes to find out more about the work of Nacro, drop Joanne Cameron a line at joanne.cameron@darlingtonfc.org
