Chloe fires women's team through in FA Cup!

And Evie stops three penalties in shootout

Darlington Women put themselves in the hat for the FA Cup Third Round Qualifying with a 3-2 win on penalties in a six goal thriller at Whitehaven.
 
A hat-trick from Chloe Ryan put Darlington ahead 3-1 at half time but Whitehaven pulled two back to take the tie to a penalty shootout, in which keeper Evie Whittaker saved three penalties.
 
It was a great result for all involved.

The Player of the Match in our FA Cup victory went to our number 14 and prolific forward Chloe Ryan. 
 
Her first goal of the game, came from the penalty spot, before netting her brace before half time. Her third and hat-trick goal was the best of the 3 with a lovely left foot lift over the goalkeeper.
 
Chloe also appeared on the big screen on the evening's local news on BBC Look North after the game.
