The Board of Darlington Football Club is delighted to confirm that the Mowden Pub has extended its sponsorship agreement for a further 12 months.

The deal means that the Mowden, in Staindrop Road, Darlington, will remain as one of the Club’s sponsors and the agreement includes a working business partnership with benefits for each party.

Landlord Simon Leadbetter brings over 25 years' catering experience having worked in and run various establishments in the North East. The venue offers room for up to 60 diners plus comfortable, stylish and relaxed drinking areas. The focus of the Mowden is to provide local people with a relaxed and friendly environment to eat, drink, socialise and get together.

The Club has worked well with the Mowden over the last 12 months and we are looking forward to extending this partnership for the forthcoming season.

The Mowden Landlord and Darlington fan, Simon Leadbetter, is excited to have extended his agreement with the Club and said “As a fan of the club for well over 30 years we are delighted to be able to be a part once again of supporting our local club and playing a small part in helping DFC move onwards and upwards!"
