Jack Maskell Becomes Second Summer Signing

Darlington FC are delighted to announce the signing of striker, Jack Maskell, from Dunston UTS FC for an undisclosed fee.

Jack has joined the club on a two year deal.

The 19-year-old forward had an impressive season in the Northern Premier League - East Division, netting 26 goals in 36 league and playoff appearances, including a hat-trick in the play-off final versus Stockton Town.

His outstanding performances have caught the attention of numerous clubs in the region, but we are delighted that Jack has chosen Darlington FC as the next step in his promising career.

Our manager, Steve Watson, is equally excited about the new addition to the squad. He said, “We are delighted to welcome Jack to Darlington, it’s a great testament to everyone who helped get this deal done and needless to say that this is a signing that without the fans generosity and faith in us, would never have been possible.

Jack joined Dunston UTS last summer from Northern League Second Division side Horden CW, where he had picked up the league Young Player of the Season award during the 22/23 campaign.
