Do you like real ale? Then here's your chance to sample some top quality real ale brewed in the north.

Darlington Rugby club are holding a beer festival (entry free) from Friday 10th March to Sunday 12th March, at which 60 different cask ales will be on sale.

The festival is always well attended and well received by real ale enthusiasts, so why not pop along?

The festival will be opened by real enthusiast and journalist Mike Amos at 5pm on Friday 10th, followed by a Six Nations rugby game on the big screen tv.

On Saturday 11th, if you're not going away with Darlington FC, then why not go to the rugby club from 12 noon? There'll be a rugby game taking place, then another Six Nations game on the big screen tv..

Then on Sunday 12th from midday, there'll be Premiership football on the tv.

Food will also be available.
