Quakers crashed out of the FA Cup when they were easily beaten by Telford at Blackwell Meadows.

Quakers conceded an early goal from a corner, and then three goals in the space of eight minutes before half time decided the tie, with Quakers' defending letting them down.

Telford won a corner on the right in the second minute, but Quakers defence managed to head the ball away for a throw in. Jordan Cranston eventually crossed for Matthew Stenson to head over the bar.

Quakers broke away, and Jack Maskell set up Will Hatfield to fire wide from 25 yards.

The home side had Peter Jameson to thank on 8 minutes. Quakers tried to play the ball out of defence, lost possession, and Stenson had a low shot well saved by the keeper.

But Telford scored from the corner. The ball was curled into the six yard box where Dylan Allen-Hedley poked the ball in.

Quakers responded with a good run by Lennon when he beat two defenders, but he was crowded out in the penalty area.

And it was 2-0 on 27 minutes when Jordan Cranston played a low ball into the box from the left, and Matthew Stenson sidefooted the ball in at the far post.

They nearly got a third after Dyer, on the right, pulled the ball back for Allen-Hadley, who blazed an effort over the bar.

But they broke through again on 33 minutes when Dyer again crossed from the right, and Toby Lees under pressure from Stenson turned the ball into his own net.

It was 4-0 on 35 minutes when Telford again broke down the right and the ball was played to the far post for Stenson to tap in.

Quakers tried to respond, but Jack Maskell’s header from a corner was saved by Pardington,

Quakers made two subs before half time, with Tom Platt and Toby Lees withdrawn for Josh Scott and Tom Allan.

It was nearly five on half time when Allen-Hadley got away down the left and pulled the ball back for Remi Walker to sidefoot wide.

It was undoubtedly a first half that Quakers wanted to forget.

Half time 0-4

They needed an early goal for the second half, and they nearly scored from a left wing corner, Tom Allan heading wide at the far post.

They made another sub on 58 minutes, Lennon coming off for Aidan Rutledge.

They had a chance on the hour when McGowan found Cedric Main on the left, and the striker’s low shot was saved by Pardington.

Telford nearly got a fifth, Stenson turned quickly inside the area, and fired just over the top.

At the other end, Allan’s persistence created a chance for Rutledge, but he fired straight at Pardington.

Matty Cornish was Quakers' fifth sub on 68 minutes, replacing Main.

And Telford went nap on 74 minutes when Adan George got away and slotted the ball past Jameson
