Darlo will look to replicate midweek success at the weekend as they welcome Curzon Ashton to Blackwell Meadows.

The Quakers had a very successful Tuesday night with a 1-0 win against top-of-the-table Kidderminster Harriers thanks to Cedric Main’s second-half composed finish to bring the three points back to Darlo.

Darlington are back at Blackwell Meadows for the first time this year and will look to get another good win against a strong team. At home, Darlo have been very strong, with only one loss in twelve games.

Darlo’s opponents, Curzon Ashton, will look to continue their impressive away record as they take the trip to Blackwell Meadows to get back to winning ways after suffering a loss in their last game to Brackley Town. They haven't lost in their last four visits to Darlington.

The Nash hold the best away record in the league with nine wins and one draw in twelve games. Out of a possible 36 points, Curzon have been able to gain 28 points away from home. They have been both strong going forward with 17 goals scored and defensively strong with ten goals conceded, which is the least conceded away from home in the league.

This is the second fixture between the two teams, with the first being a 0-0 draw on Matchday 5 in August.

A key man for the Nash is striker and club captain Jimmy Spencer, who has six goals and six assists this season. His hold-up play is key for Curzon as he provides a good outlet for the team to build from, and he has scored some big goals this season.

Goalkeeper Bobby Jones was signed this season after release from Stockport, and the improvement in Curzon's defence has happened since his signing. He has kept 13 clean sheets and only conceded 19 goals this season, proving he is a mainstay in the Curzon goal.
