Quakers were beaten by a stoppage time goal against Kidderminster this afternoon.
There were very few chances in the game , but Kidderminster sub Marcus Dinanga, who scored a hat trick for Telford against Quakers two seasons ago, scored the winner just a few minutes after coming on.
Quakers threatened after 4 minutes. Will Hatfield found Jack Lambert on the left, and he turned two defenders inside out before chipping the ball to the far post, but there was nobody to take advantage.
After George Smith needed treatment for injury, Kidderminster nearly took the lead with a ball forward into the box that found Ashley Hemmings and he fired left footed over the top.
The sides cancelled each other out after that, although Lambert showed the occasional flash of skill.
Kiddie nearly took the lead on 21 minutes when Alex Penny won the ball on the edge of the Darlington box and found Sam Austin, whose low left foot shot was saved by Taylor.
Quakers responded with a ball out to the right by Rose to right back Kallum Griffiths, and he cut inside before firing a low shot across goal with Lambert just unable to get a touch.
The visitors had a chance on 38 minutes when a ball through the middle found Hemmings, but Taylor came out and palmed his shot away.
Quakers nearly scored just on half time, a right wing corner was flicked on by Danny Ellis and Will Hatfield was only inches away from connecting at the far post.
But Kiddie missed a great chance just on half time. A ball came in from the left, Hemmings got away from his man, but headed wide with the goal at his mercy.
Half time 0-0
Kiddie had the ball in the net on 48 minutes through Austin’s left foot shot, but the ref pulled play back for a Kiddie free kick -- much to the visitors' disbelief -- which Omari Sterling curled into Taylor’s hands.
Quakers had a good chance on 62 minutes when Griffiths crossed the ball from the right for Cassidy to flick on, and Lambert, coming in behind, fired over the top.
Lambert was always willing to try something, and after dribbling in from the left, he fired over the top from an acute angle.
But Kidderminster won it in the second minute of stoppage time, when the ball came over from the left from Sam Austin for Marcus Dinanga to head past Taylor.
