π₯ Match Preview
Darlo look to respond to the Oxford defeat when they return to Blackwell Meadows to meet King’s Lynn to start a busy Christmas period.
The Quakers come into this fixture after a 5-1 loss away at Oxford City, but before that had a strong November in the league with six wins and one draw in eight league fixtures.
The home form for Darlo really improved in the month of November, with three wins and one draw in four home games, with big results like a 5-1 win against Worksop and 5-2 against Peterborough, as well as an important 1-0 win against local rivals Spennymoor.
The Quakers sit 11th in the home form table with four wins and four draws in 10 home league games with 23 goals scored and 16 conceded for a total of 16 points.
Darlington’s opponents, King’s Lynn, have already met the Quakers this season in a 1-1 draw in August, but now they make the long trip up to Blackwell Meadows.
The Linnets come into this game after a 1-1 draw against Macclesfield and are 16th in the league with six wins and eight draws in 21 games, which has gained them 26 points.
Away from home, King’s Lynn have been consistent and are 11th in the away form table with three wins and five draws in ten games, with 13 goals scored and 12 conceded.
The clubs have already met this season in a 1-1 draw at King’s Lynn, where Cedric Main’s delightful chip wasn’t enough as Michael Gyasi equalised for the home team in the second half. The last meeting at Blackwell Meadows was a 1-0 win to The Quakers thanks to an early worldie by Kallum Griffiths.

π€ Player Spotlight
Reece Hall-Johnson has been an attacking threat on the right-hand side for King’s Lynn, with the 30-year-old having found the back of the net this season. His most recent goal came against Buxton in a 3-2 victory on 25th November. He missed the 1-1 draw against The Quakers earlier in the season.
Ross Crane has been a key man for The Linnets, having eight goal contributions, with five goals and three assists. Primarily a left winger, Crane is a versatile player who can play in many different attacking roles. His last goal came last Tuesday against Macclesfield.
They also have former Quaker Jack Lambert in their ranks, who made 99 appearances in his four spells with the club, scoring 27 goals.
