Darlington v Peterborough Sports preview

First ever clash between the clubs

We're looking for our fifth straight win in league and cup when Peterborough Sports come to Blackwell Meadows on Saturday.

Our run of victories -- the last in the league was against Bradford PA -- has pushed us up to sixth in the table, two places ahead of our opponents.

This will be the first ever clash between the two clubs.

Darlington striker Kaine Felix will also be up against his old club -- he was transferred from them on the eve of the season.

Unfortunately, former Darlington player Jordan Nicholson, who is Peterborough's top scorer, broke his leg in midweek, and we wish him well in his recovery.

Here's an interview with Alun:

Peterborough Sports, who were promoted into our league last season, will be without former Darlington striker Jordan Nicholson, as unfortunately he suffered a broken leg in the win over Redditch in midweek.
