Darlington's fourth game of pre-season sees us host League Two side York City on Tuesday night.

Over the years in League Two and the Conference, the two sides met on many occasions with the last competitive meeting a 2-2 draw at the Arena. In front of a bumper crowd of over 6,000, goals from Adam Rundle and John McReady gave Darlington a 2-0 lead before The Minstermen fought back to earn a point.

Ahead of the game Darlington manager Martin Gray said, " It's another tough challenge from a Football League team. Their standard will be very good, as well as there fitness levels so we are delighted to host them.

"We will be fielding a similar type of line-up to the one against Sunderland. The new signings and trialist's will all get a run-out."

The club gained promotion back to the Football League in the 2012/13 season with a play-off final victory over Luton Town.

Darlington's latest game at the weekend saw a 3-0 victory over South Shields, thanks to a double from Adam Mitchell and a goal from Nathan Cartman.

Kick-off is Tuesday 7pm
