Darlington Women sign Katie Bragg

Joins her home town club
Darlington FC Women are delighted to announce their second new signing of the season, Katie Bragg.
Katie is no stranger to the North East football scene, having previously played for Middlesbrough, Darlington Spraire Ladies, Thornaby FC Women and more recently Newton Aycliffe Women.
Katie said; "I’m very excited to get the season started with Darlington FC. The squad is very talented and the club is very ambitious. Promotion was extremely close last season and I can’t wait to be a part of the squad this season, pushing for promotion again. Especially having the opportunity to play for my home town club!"
Women’s team Manager Shaun Mackenzie said; "I am really happy to bring Katie in this season. Katie is someone we’ve been aware of for the past few seasons, having played against us on numerous occasions. She is a strong forward who can play anywhere across the front three and holds the ball up well. She has already linked up well with the other forwards in training and our pre season games so far, so we are looking forward to having Katie as an option up top this season."
