First home game for the lads, who had their new home kit on, a full squad turned out for the match.

Both teams started the game well, Darlington settled into the game playing some great supportive, passing football.

A single goal separated the teams at half time, a well worked and well taken goal from Darlington’s forward Spencer McCabe.

Both teams came out second half and battled well, unfortunately the U12's went behind to 3 goals from Spennymoor.

A very hard working performance from every player on the U12's side and an undeserving loss.

The under 14s beat Langley Park Hotspur 1-0. A very nervy and tight game following last week’s 10-0 win. Neither side looking to take hold of the game then Darlo carved out a chance and it fell to Darren Robertson who took his chance really well. There were no more serious chances but they held on for the win.

Darlington Under 16's faced off against Kirk Merrington in their first competitive game as a team. Darlington started off brightly trying to play through the thirds of the pitch but lacked the sharpness to get the ball into the final third. Despite periods of impressive football, Darlington u16's found themselves 3-0 down at half time. Darlington played the majority of the second half with nine men due to injury, but they kept up the hard work until the final whistle. The game finished 5-1 in favour of the home team but despite the result Darlington showed moments of brilliance and why they are team with a lot of potential given that they keep working hard.

The Under 17s lost 4-3 at home to Jarrow Vipers, Dale Milburn, Sam Marshall and Jacob Pulawski scoring.
