David Wheater signs a contract with Quakers

Centre half makes his stay permanent

Darlington FC are pleased that to announce that central defender David Wheater has signed a contract with the club to the end of next season.

The former Middlesbrough and Bolton centre half joined us on non-contract terms last month, and made his debut against Chorley. He has now played for us on five occasions, scoring the first goal against Boston a fortnight ago.
