Long serving fan passes away
The club is very sad to learn of the death of one of our long serving fans, Derek Robson, at the age of 86.
Derek was a lifelong fan, and saw us beat Chelsea in 1958, Rochdale in 1991 and many other triumphs, and enjoyed the three Wembley trips. He was a regular at Heritage Park and Blackwell Meadows in recent years.
His son, John, said; "He took great satisfaction in us getting back to where we are today, and being able to help the club with some financial support. He will greatly missed by those that knew him."
Everyone at Darlington FC would like to pass on their condolences to Derek's family.
