Emirates FA Cup fourth qualifying round draw -- at home again

Draw made at lunchtime today

The draw for the fourth qualifying round of the Emirates FA Cup was drawn at lunchtime today, and we have been drawn at home against Cambridge City.

This will be our third home tie in the competition, having already beaten Prescot Cables and Tadcaster Albion.

Cambridge, who are nicknamed the Lilywhites, play in the Isthmian League North Division, two steps below us, and have played four times in the competition so far. They have beaten Biggleswade (home) 4-0, Stowmarket (home) 4-2 on penalties after a 1-1 draw, Cheshunt (away) 2-1 and Halesowen (home) 2-0.

Darlington manager Alun Armstrong said; "We can't complain as it's another home draw but all games are tricky in the FA Cup. We'll have to do some digging on them as we don't know anything about them."

The game is due to be played on Saturday 24th October, kick off 3pm, behind closed doors.

Details of Quaker TV will be announced in due course.
