With Darlington fans making up the vast majority of the crowd and making plenty of noise, Caden Kelly tried his luck from the corner of the box with a curling right foot shot that went just over the bar.
When Farsley threatened for the first time and broke down the right on 5 minutes, Toby Lees made a good interception on the penalty spot.
Quakers nearly scored on 13 minutes. A great ball into the box by Kelly was brought down by Main for Alshabeeb to square for Nelson, who brought a good save out of Wooster with a low shot.
Will McGowan played a great ball into the box for Alshabeeb to bring down, but Quakers couldn't quite create an opening.
Quakers won a free kick for a foul on Alshabeeb on 19 minutes about 30 yards out, and Kelly’s curling free kick landed on the roof of the net.
There was another chance on 21 minutes when Nelson dribbled to the bye line and cossed the ball back for Main to have a header blocked by a defender.
Farsley responded with a low left foot shot by Youmbi which Jameson saved low down to his left.
But Quakers got on top again, and when Farsley lost possession about 35 yards out, Flint picked up the loose ball and struck a right foot shot just over the bar.
Farsley won their first corner on 35 minutes, and the ball fell for Danny Greenfield to hit a right foot volley that Jameson pushed around the post.
Barrow found Griffiths with a great crossfield pass, and when Griffiths crossed into the middle, Main glanced the ball wide of the left hand post.
Nelson picked up an injury on 44 minutes, and was replaced by Jack Maskell.
Quakers took the lead just on half time. A high ball into the box was headed down by Main for Maskell to set up Alshabeeb to sweep the ball home
Half time
Farsley 0 Darlington 1
Quakers won a corner at the start of the second half, but Kelly’s corner ended with Maskell heading wide.
It was nearly 2-0 when Barrow floated a lovely ball into the box for Main to help on, but Wooster managed to push the ball over the bar.
Quakers took control of the game again, and a great crossfield pass by Barrow led to Alshabeeb wining a corner, which ended with Maskell crossing from the left for Lees to head straight at Wooster.
Farsley though broke out and nearly scored on on 68 minutes when Greenfield hit a 30 yarder that Jameson saved at full stretch, and when the corner came in Mampala headed against the post.
Wooster pulled off an equally good save at the other end two minutes later, when Alshabeeb found McGowan on the edge of the area, and his left foot shot was pushed over the bar by Wooster.
Quakers scored from the corner that followed. The ball was floated into the area where the Farsley defence missed the ball, and Elliot Forbes was there to control the ball and knock it into the empty net.
It was nearly 3-0 when Maskell almost got through, and a defender just managed to get a tackle in for a corner that Kelly whipped in, and Maskell headed just over.
Quakers though nearly conceded one when a headed back pass let in Mampala, but Jameson forced him wide and the Farsley sub was eventually crowded out.
It was nearly three again when Cornish threaded the ball through for Salkeld, who sidefooted straight at Wooster.
