From the League: New broadcast deal with DAZN agreed

Seven year deal signed

As many of you will be aware, the TNT Sports partnership expired at the end of the 2023/24 season.  As part of that schedule the League entered a negotiation of our broadcast rights with a number of broadcast partners, including TNT Sports, to seek a scaled and ambitious partnership moving forwards.

Due to the success of our streaming platform NLTV over the past 18 months, it enabled us to consider not only our traditional Broadcast rights but how best to maximise our reach with Broadcast and Streaming both in the UK and globally.  We thank you all for your involvement within the streaming that has enabled us to maximise our exposure.

To that end, we are delighted to inform you that commencing 1st August 2024, the Board has agreed to progress with a 7-year partnership with DAZN that will include both Broadcast rights and streaming across the DAZN platform in the UK and globally for the benefit of all 72 clubs.

DAZN is the world’s leading sports entertainment platform, which owns and operates an over-the-top (OTT) product based on premium sports rights, world-leading tech, and multi-platform distribution. It was founded in 2007 (originally as Perform Group and from 2015 as DAZN).
