The National League’s official betting partner LV BET take a look at the pick of the fixtures on Matchday 33 in the National League North.
Chester v Gateshead
- Gateshead’s excellent 3-0 win at Boston United on Tuesday means they are now unbeaten in 11 National League North matches.
- Defeat to Brackley Town last time out ended Chester’s four-game home winning run.
- Victory for Gateshead on Saturday will see them leap-frog Chester for the first time since August.
- The teams met at the International Stadium four weeks ago with the Heed running out 2-0 winners. They have won three from six away games, drawing the others.
King’s Lynn v Southport
- Weather frustration and a poor recent run means King’s Lynn are off top spot for the first time since November.
- Southport lost for the first time in four against Leamington last time out but they have only won one of their last ten.
- Lynn have lost once at home since September 2018 - but that defeat came in their last match at The Walks against Kidderminster.
- King’s Lynn have only played once in the last 28 days. They are looking to avoid a third straight defeat and hope 28-goal Adam Marriott keeps on scoring.
Hereford v Altrincham
- Hereford are without a win in six matches and have one victory in ten.
- Altrincham have one defeat in seven and won 3-0 at Blyth Spartans on their last away trip.
- The Bulls have drawn their last four at home. Both teams have scored in all-but one of their last ten games at Edgar Street.
- The Robins ran out easy 5-1 winners when they met in November. Alty haven’t lost at home since the opening day but aren’t as convincing on the road.
York City v Curzon Ashton
- York have returned to the top of the table for the first time in four months after three wins from their last four matches.
- Curzon have won only one of their last eight but did win at York’s promotion-chasing rivals Chester just before the New Year.
- Only Brackley Town have won less home games than York’s seven of the current top eight clubs - but they have only let in ten goals at Bootham Crescent.
- York have won four in a row at home but have scored only 22 in front of their own fans this season.
