Darlington manager Martin Gray has warned his players about complacency in their latest away game at Halesowen on Saturday.

Quakers climbed to third in the table thanks to two great wins last weekend against Colwyn Bay and Blyth, but Gray is keen that the players shouldn’t let their standards drop.

“The players have now set the standard,” he said. “There is no point in beating the league leaders with a great performance and then not repeating it in the next game.

“The players know what I want from them, I want more of the same. We don’t want the game at Halesowen to be a case of after the Lord Mayor’s Show.”

MG hasn’t yet decided on his starting line up, but definitely out of the reckoning are midfielder Adam Nowakowski and defender Terry Galbraith.

Whether the club’s leading scorer, Alan White, starts the game or not remains to be seen, but the 39 year old’s exploits over last weekend seem to have captured the fans’ imagination.

Halesowen are currently fifth bottom, but have won two of their three home games so far.
