Guidance for fans attending the game on New Year's Day

Segregated game

Guidance for fans attending the Darlington v Spennymoor Town game on New Year’s Day

Darlington FC would like everyone attending the game at Blackwell Meadows on New Year’s Day to have a great day out, and hopefully we will have a great trouble-free afternoon of football to enjoy.

The match will be segregated. Spennymoor fans arriving at Blackwell Meadows will be directed towards the west end of the ground, and will have their own facilities.

Darlington fans should enter the ground as normal at the Tin Shed end of the ground.

Fans from both clubs are requested to arrive earlier than usual to avoid congestion at the turnstiles.

Tickets are available to buy in advance online for both home and away fans as well as cash or contactless payment options on the turnstiles. This is not an all ticket match.

We want all fans to be on their best behaviour. Darlington FC is proud of its community and family based support and cannot, and will not, tolerate inappropriate behaviour or crowd disturbance of any kind. The Board of Directors is ultimately responsible for the conduct of the club's supporters at all our football matches and therefore, if you observe any illegal behaviour or behaviour which tarnishes the club’s name, then please e mail, in confidence, dave.watson@darlingtonfc.org.

Blackwell Meadows is also a no smoking/no vaping ground.

We would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year.
