π₯ Match Preview
The Quakers are hoping to continue their unbeaten run in 2026, going into the month of February, as they travel to Worcester to take on Hereford in the rearranged fixture on Tuesday night.
Darlo come into this game after two postponed home fixtures, but the last game played was a 2-2 draw away to Southport, with goals from Tom Platt and Cedric Main.
Away from home this season, the Quakers have been strong with seven wins and three draws in 15 games, with 25 goals scored and 24 goals conceded for a total of 24 points, which puts them 5th in the away form table.
Darlington’s opponents, Hereford, have had a challenging season and currently sit 23rd in the table with five wins and seven draws in 25 games played. They have moved this game with the permission of the National League because Edgar Street is undergoing pitch repairs.
The Bulls come into this game after a disappointing result away to Southport, where they lost 5-1, and are now without a win in eight league games.
When playing as the home team this season, Hereford have also struggled and sit 24th in the home form table with only nine games played due to pitch problems. In those nine games, they have won two and drawn three with 12 goals scored and 16 conceded for a total of nine points.
Last time the two clubs met was back in September, when both teams played out a 1-1 draw, with a goal from Jack Maskell being cancelled out by a Sam Osborne goal late in the second half. The last time Darlington played Hereford away, the Quakers walked away 2-0 winners thanks to a Matty Cornish brace.
Yesterday, Hereford appointed a new manager, Aaron Downes, to replace Paul Caddis, who left the club after the Telford game.

π€ Player Spotlight
Theo Richardson is in between the sticks for the homeside. He was vital when Hereford came to Blackwell Meadows earlier in the season, making lots of saves to stop The Quakers from taking all three points.
The Hereford squad also features former Quaker Justin Donawa, who played for Darlington from 2019-2020. He joined Hereford from Brackley Town and faced The Quakers last season, causing lots of problems with his long throw-ins.
