Jarrett commits again to Quakers

Winger signs on the dotted line

Darlington winger Jarrett Rivers has today signed for the club for a fifth season, subject to FA and league approval.

Jarrett was signed originally from Blyth by manager Alun Armstrong in the summer of 2019 soon after Alun took over as manager, and since then he has made 123 appearances, scoring 13 times. One of the goals he scored last season, against Hereford, made it into the Goal of the Season collection.

Alun said; “Jarrett is a very important to the squad, because he is the fittest player at the club, and his energy is useful in supporting the defence and attack.”

Jarrett, who has signed for a year, has also been doing a great job looking after our Academy lads.

We would like to wish Jarrett all the best during his continued stay with us.
