Darlington goalkeeping coach Jim Provett has decided to stand down.

Jim revealed his decision after Saturday's 2-1 home defeat by Scarborough in the FA Cup.

He said; "It wasn't a decision I have taken lightly as I have spent six years at the club in various roles.

"I have made some lifelong friends and have a lot of people to thank throughout my time at the club, the lads, staff and fans. I wish everyone at the club nothing but success, and I'm sure things will turn around and the club can climb the table."
