Katie Sheridan moves to Spraire

Long serving Quakers moves across town
The club would like to confirm that midfielder Katie Sheridan has left the club to join Darlington Spraire Ladies F.C for the remainder of the season.
Katie signed from Thornaby FC Women in January 2022. Known to her teammates as ‘Shez’, she had a great debut season, making 13 starts, scoring 5 goals and getting 3 assists. Shez went on to make 67 competitive appearances for the Quaker Women and was awarded ‘Players Player of the Season’ in 2022/23 season.
After rupturing her ACL in the pre season of 2024 against Hartlepool and requesting surgery, Shez has worked extremely hard to get back playing and worked closely with club physio Dan Lupu.
After building up her fitness with us pre season and making her first appearance of the season against Aycliffe a couple of weeks ago, she is ready to regain her match sharpness and get some minutes on the pitch! The club would like to thank Shez for her service for the past three and half years.
