Darlington FC Women are back in league action for the final time this Sunday as they end their league campaign away to Gateshead Rutherford.

In the three times the sides have met in the past, they have never been separated. Earlier on in the season, they drew 3-3 at Eastbourne with a brace from Hattie Raine and a goal from Chloe Bright. The Quaker Women were 3-2 up in the game, before Rutherford got an equaliser in the 85th minute.

On both occasions last season, both teams take a point home. Darlington drew 1-1 at home with a goal from Sophie Curle and drew 2-2 away with goals again coming from Hattie Raine and Chloe Bright.

It’s certain to be an exciting game for both teams to end their season finishing a respectable 4th and 5th in the league table.
