Mary Bowes

Much-loved volunteer passes away
The club is extremely said to learn about the passing of long serving supporter and volunteer, Mary Bowes.
Mary, who was 81, was a much-loved and well-respected volunteer worker at the club over several decades, during which she hardly missed a game.
Alongside her husband Glen, she was heavily involved in many roles at the club – last season, for example, she sold 50/50 tickets and programmes at home games, helped Glen run buses to our away games, and helped during the week at Quaker Retail in the Dolphin Centre. She has done many other jobs for the club over the years, especially fundraising since we became a fan-owned club. She was a familiar face to everyone who came to our matches and was loved and respected by all.
Our thoughts and sincere condolences go to Glen and the rest of her family.
RIP.
