Matty Cornish signs a new contract

Midfielder signs up for the new season
Darlington are very pleased to announce that Matty Cornish has signed a contract for the new season.
Matty originally joined us in January on a non-contract basis after leaving Marske United, and impressed very quickly with his performances, to the point that a few weeks later the club put him on a contract until the end of the season.
He played 18 times for us, and scored six times, one of them being that unforgettable goal into the top corner against Blyth Spartans which gave us victory at Croft Park and also earned him the goal of the season award.
We're sure that everyone at the club is delighted that Matty has signed a new contract.
The signing is subject to FA and National League approval.
