Newcastle United have named five more promising players who will probably be included in their squad for the big friendly against Quakers at the Northern Echo Arena on Monday.
Yasin Ben El-Mhanni, who has also played twice for the first team, should also feature - he played in the game at the Arena last summer. He played non league football at Farnborough and Lewes, and earlier in his career he appeared as a body double and skill adviser for Neymar in a commercial. He was once dubbed the “non league Mahrez” because of his Moroccan heritage and skills.
Dan Barlaser is a Gateshead born midfielder who has played for both Turkey and England and has been part of the Newcastle Under 23 set up for nearly four years. He played twice for the first team last season.
Defender Stuart Findlay has been capped by Scotland at various levels, and signed for Newcastle from Celtic in August last year. He made his debut against Birmingham City earlier this year.
Forward Tyrique Bartlett is the son of former Charlton and South Africa forward Shaun, and signed a three year deal with Newcastle.
Former Recreativo de Huelva striker Juan Lopez, also known as Juanito, is a Spanish teenager.
Virgin East Coast are sponsoring the game, and they'll be giving discount vouchers away on the night that will entitle users to three trips with fares discounted at 30 per cent.
We'd also like to thank Newton Press for their printing services for this game.
