Darlington Football Club would like to announce that following a vote by over 1,000 fans, both on line and in Quaker Retail, the home shirt for next season will be choice A – the shirt with the three hoops.

There was a total of 1077 votes cast: 73.26% voted for Shirt A and 26.74% voted for Shirt B.

Chief Executive Officer Dave Mills said; “I would like to thank everyone who took the time to register their choice of home shirt for next season, the fantastic number of votes cast far exceeded my expectations when we launched the survey on Tuesday… it received the highest number of votes cast from all previous online surveys the Club has conducted!

“The Board of Directors are delighted with the outcome of the vote and are confident that the sale of replica home shirts will prove very popular when they become available in the early summer. The away kit for 2016-17 will be announced at the end of the season. I would also like to express my thanks to our kit provider for next season, AVEC, for the shirt designs, and to the ‘behind the scenes’ volunteers who set up and administered the online survey, as without them online initiatives like this would not be possible.”
